Soft Break
Squishy brick breaker, no ads
$2.99
From the creators of Metaballs, a 2026 Apple Design Award finalist: a soft, squishy spin on an arcade classic!
A small, beautiful, tactile game you buy once and keep.
Soft Break is a brick breaker made of jelly.
The bricks squish, dent, wobble, and eventually break apart. Catch the falling pieces on your paddle and send them flying back up for extra points. Catch the same piece three times and it pops.
There's a soothing ambient soundtrack underneath it all. Every consecutive hit plays the next note up a scale, so a good streak adds its own little melody while multiplying your points. Every sound is synthesized live and stays in key with the music.
Drag anywhere to aim, lift your finger to launch. That's pretty much all there is to the controls, and your finger never gets in the way.
There are eight hand-built levels, each with its own colors and materials. Some bricks take two hits, glass is worth triple, and glitter bricks release power-ups like multi-ball and a wider paddle. Things get a little faster each time around.
A few other details:
- Haptics give each material its own feel, from crisp glass to dull clay.
- Runs at up to 120 Hz on ProMotion displays.
- On iPad, soft sculptures drift around the edges of the game and respond to what's happening.
- Designed for a beautiful experience on iPhone Duo.
- Game Center leaderboards, both weekly and all-time.
- Works offline, respects your silent switch, and gets out of the way when you're listening to your own music.
No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking. Plays offline. Just the game.
