EdT365 Xiangqi is Chinese chess (Cờ Tướng) by Edtech365 – a warm wooden board, traditional Chinese-character pieces, fully offline and 100% free with no ads.
Please note: the app's interface is in Vietnamese. The pieces use the traditional Chinese characters, and move notation follows the Vietnamese standard.
PLAY THE COMPUTER – 5 LEVELS
Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard and Master. Newcomers get a gentle opponent, experienced players get an engine that calculates many moves deep. Play Red (moves first), Black, or let the app choose.
300 CHECKMATE PUZZLES
Sharpen your tactics with mate-in-1, 2, 3 and 4 puzzles. Every puzzle is verified to have a forced solution where each of your moves gives check. Wrong moves are flagged instantly, hints are there when you are stuck, and the defender always picks the most stubborn reply.
TWO PLAYERS
Play a friend on one iPhone or iPad, with optional automatic board rotation so the side to move is always at the bottom.
