Little Play brings name and English-letter practice to a colorful storybook world. Enter a name using supported English letters, watch the strokes, and follow the path at your own pace.
PRACTICE YOUR OWN NAME
Keep the whole name together on one writing board. Practice the strokes in order, with numbered starting points and direction arrows.
WATCH, TRACE, THEN WRITE
Watch a demonstration, trace the path, and try writing with lighter guides. Gentle stroke feedback and hints help you try again. Choose one to three tracing and writing rounds. Practice steps move forward automatically, with controls to revisit a step.
MEET YOUR PRACTICE COMPANION
Swirly reacts as you practice. Optional spoken encouragement is available in Chinese for the Chinese interface and English for the other interface languages. Voice clips and the companion are bundled for offline use.
PRINT A PERSONALIZED WORKSHEET
Create an A4 PDF for a name or letter. Choose tracing rows, blank writing rows, guide darkness and an optional stroke example. Print with a compatible AirPrint printer, or save and share the PDF using the iOS system panel. Worksheet instructions are in English.
EXPLORE THE ENGLISH ALPHABET
Choose uppercase A–Z or lowercase a–z for individual-letter practice. Follow colorful rainbow trails or a little road, then celebrate your progress.
MAKE PRACTICE COMFORTABLE
Adjust sound effects, spoken encouragement and motion in Settings. Use the larger writing space on iPad or practice on iPhone in portrait or landscape.
Core practice works offline without an account. Names and preferences stay on the device. Printing and sharing use iOS system services.
English-letter handwriting practice is the current writing curriculum. Interface language options do not add other writing systems or spoken-language lessons.
