VeloBriefing: Cycling Weather
Rain & wind along your route
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Rain, wind and gusts along your route. Create rides, import GPX and share forecast cards and videos for free. No app account needed.
Rain on the way out? Headwind on the way home? See the weather for your cycling route before you ride.
VeloBriefing turns forecast data into a clear ride briefing. Explore the hours and reference places on your route, understand the wind relative to your direction, and see how conditions may change when you leave earlier or later.
READ THE RAIN
• Explore an interactive rain timeline, with drizzle, light, moderate and heavy rain shown separately.
• Compare forecasts at your start, waypoint and turnaround or finish.
• Compare Apple Weather with MET Norway and see where they agree. Agreement between sources is not a rain probability.
UNDERSTAND THE WIND
• Headwind, tailwind and crosswind explained in plain language.
• Wind speed, gusts and direction relative to your course.
• Temperature and typical road traffic estimates when available. Traffic is not live.
PLAN YOUR RIDE
• Search for an address, choose places on a map or import a GPX track.
• Create a loop or an out-and-back ride, with your own start time and duration.
• Use a public Strava link as a starting reference; import a GPX file for the actual track. No Strava account connection required.
• Compare departure times and the available forecast days.
SHARE THE PLAN
• Export a minimal 9:16 forecast card or an animated video for your group and stories.
• Send a ride file so a friend can open the same plan in VeloBriefing.
• Create and import rides for free. Sharing cards and videos is free too.
MADE FOR EVERYDAY RIDERS
• No app account or advertising.
• Saved rides and the last downloaded forecast stay on your device. Offline data is marked with its update time.
• Home Screen widgets and Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Norwegian Bokmål and German interfaces.
• Learn how to bring a Strava course with the step-by-step guide inside the app.
• Start with two editable example rides for each of seven countries.
VELOBRIEFING PRO
• Free: build, import and share rides, today's and tomorrow's briefing, Home Screen widgets and the Apple Watch summary.
• Pro adds the full forecast week, departure time comparison, ride alerts, typical traffic along your route and the complete Apple Watch briefing.
• Choose monthly, annual (with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Forecast availability varies by location and source. Forecasts can change; check again before leaving. VeloBriefing is a planning tool, not a navigation or safety service.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Adding your rides is now much easier.
• Plan by address like a ride-hailing trip: type your start, add as many stops as you like and the turnaround, with live suggestions, your current location or places from your rides. The course follows every stop.
• New quick buttons on the home screen to import from Strava, Apple Health or a GPX file.
• Strava first: paste your Strava link and add your stops in seconds. The exact GPX course stays optional.
• Locked forecast days are now marked, so you can see what VeloBriefing Pro adds.
