MR Halloween (AR)
AR pumpkins vs friendly ghosts
$1.49
Halloween in your own room! Find the friendly ghosts with your phone and swipe pumpkins at them. Three levels, six languages, no ads and no in-app purchases.
Halloween comes to your home! MR Halloween is a cheerful augmented reality game for the whole family: point your phone at the room around you and friendly little ghosts appear everywhere, while magic pumpkins pop up in front of you.
How to play
• Turn around with your phone to find the ghosts.
• Touch a pumpkin and, without lifting your finger, swipe toward a ghost to throw it.
• Careful: if you just tap a pumpkin, it drops and you lose points.
• If a ghost reaches you, it covers your screen in slime!
Three levels
• Easy: any pumpkin works on any ghost.
• Normal: hit the ghost that matches your pumpkin's color (3 colors).
• Hard: the colors keep changing, so throw when they match! 5 colors, chosen with color-blind players in mind.
A little trick: two thrown pumpkins that crash in mid-air go splat, and you don't lose points. Handy for getting rid of the wrong colors!
Also in the game
• 3-minute games with a full score summary at the end
• A friendly narrator who explains the rules, plus music and sound effects
• 6 languages: English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and Simplified Chinese, chosen with a flag at the start
• Play holding your phone upright (portrait mode)
• On-screen pause button
• Optional online leaderboard with the 10 highest scores for each level: after a game you can save your score with a nickname. No account and no login; without an internet connection the game works just the same.
• No ads, no in-app purchases, no usage statistics
Spooky but sweet
Cute ghosts, splats of slime and lots of laughs: no blood and nothing truly scary.
Safety
Play in a space free of obstacles and stay aware of your surroundings.
Works on iPhone and iPad that support augmented reality (ARKit). The camera is used to show your room and place the ghosts in it.
