DualSpatial
Spatial Camera for iPhone Duo
$3.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The spatial camera built strictly for iPhone Duo. Both rear cameras record one stereo clip, with live stabilization and four channel sound. Spatial selfies too.
DualSpatial brings spatial video and spatial photos to iPhone Duo.
The Duo's two rear cameras sit side by side across the phone. DualSpatial records them together as one spatial clip, the format Apple Vision Pro plays in 3D. Hold the phone upright, press record, and both eyes are captured at once.
Made only for iPhone Duo. It does not run on other iPhones.
Video
- 4K per eye, 10-bit HLG, 30 fps, MV-HEVC
- Live stabilization
- 16:9 full frame, or 4:3 and 1:1 crops, all spatial
- Four channel ambisonic sound plus stereo in every clip
- Live waveforms and meters for every audio channel
Photos
- Spatial photos saved as stereo HEIC, straight to Photos
- Self timer, 3 or 10 seconds
Spatial selfies
- Open the phone and turn it around. The outer display becomes your mirror, with the countdown and the recording light, so you can frame yourself with the rear cameras.
- Swipe up on the outer display for the shutter, timer, stabilize and the photo or video switch, so you never have to reach around.
Focus and exposure
- Tap to focus and meter, long press to lock, on both cameras at once
- Face priority keeps focus and exposure on the nearest face, with a square on both displays
Built for the Duo
- Closed, it is a pocket spatial camera
- Open flat, the preview fills one side and the controls the other
- Folded like a book or a laptop, the same controls stay in the same places
- Horizon level and a live format readout while you shoot
Extras
- Side by side MP4 export for sharing anywhere
- Motion data saved beside every clip
