KlikBeam mirrors your iPhone screen to your car's headunit over WiFi and, optionally, links your iPhone with a KlikDash headunit so you know where the car is parked and where it has been.
SCREEN MIRROR (FREE, NO ACCOUNT)
• Video plays on the iPhone and is sent to the headunit as an H.264 stream. The headunit only hardware-decodes it, so it stays smooth even on a slow headunit.
• The headunit is found automatically on the same network. Scan the QR code or enter a 6-digit pairing code.
• Short dropouts reconnect by themselves, and video quality adapts to the WiFi.
KLIKBEAM ACCOUNT (FREE)
• Sign in with Apple or Google, then link your KlikDash headunit by scanning the QR code on its screen.
• The last parking spot on a map, with the time it was parked and a button to open Maps.
• Trip history for the last 7 days: route on the map, distance, moving time and speed.
KLIKBEAM PRO (SUBSCRIPTION)
• One year of trip history, grouped by day, with a date filter.
• Up to 5 cars on one account.
• Weekly and monthly driving stats: distance, time, average and top speed.
• Export the history to CSV and PDF.
• Reminders for oil changes and services (by GPS km or by months), road tax, plate renewal and insurance, with notifications 7 days before and on the due date.
Pro is available monthly or yearly; the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and can be managed in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
WHAT YOU NEED
• A car headunit running KlikDash 1.9.15 or later (free, open source): github.com/ashafizullah/klikdash
• For mirroring: the headunit on the iPhone's hotspot or the same WiFi.
• For parking and trips: the headunit online (phone hotspot or SIM) while the engine runs.
GOOD TO KNOW
• KlikBeam only shows your screen. The iPhone can't be controlled from the headunit, and sound still goes over Bluetooth.
• DRM-protected content from streaming services shows as black.
• The location updates while the headunit is online, so KlikBeam is not an anti-theft tracker.
• Only watch video while the car is parked.
PRIVACY
Mirroring needs no account and your screen never goes through a server. Accounts are optional: location and trips from the headunit are stored on the KlikBeam server only to show them to you, are never sold or shared, and are deleted with the account.
