It works backwards and sets an alarm for every job – preheat the oven, turkey in, parboil the potatoes, baste, rest, sprouts on, gravy, serve. HOW IT WORKS • Pick a classic meal or build your own • Set the weight of your turkey or joint and how many people you're feeding • Choose your serve time, or tap "As soon as possible" • Tap Start – your iPhone alerts you at every step, even when it's locked CLASSIC MEALS READY TO GO • Christmas Dinner – turkey, roast potatoes, parsnips, pigs in blankets, stuffing, sprouts, bread sauce and gravy • Thanksgiving – turkey timed to the official US (USDA) roasting chart, with mash, stuffing, green bean casserole and more • Easter Roast Lamb • Sunday Roast Chicken • Roast Beef & Yorkshire Puddings • Roast Pork & Crackling • Vanilla Panna Cotta with Strawberries & Thyme – it even tells you when to get it in the fridge so it's set in time ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN AND HOME SCREEN • Live countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while you cook • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets showing the next job and when dinner's ready • Looks great on the larger iPhone Duo screen, with two columns side by side WINE PAIRING – NO SIGNAL NEEDED Pick your meat or fish and how it's cooked, and get three wines that go with it – plus why they work, what they taste like, what to look for on the label and the temperature to serve them. Open it from any meal and it already knows what you're cooking. EVERYTHING IS EDITABLE Add or remove dishes and change weights, numbers, temperatures, times and reminders. Change the size of the turkey and the whole plan re-times itself. Change the number of people and quantities resize. Mark favourites and find recent meals in one tap. UK AND US FRIENDLY Switch between kg and lb, and °C, °C fan, °F or gas mark at any time. SMART KITCHEN WARNINGS • Tells you when to preheat and when to turn the oven up or down • Only one oven? It adjusts times so dishes can share it • Warns if you'd need more than four hob rings at once • Reminds you when to move a frozen turkey to the fridge ON THE DAY • Oven already hot? Start now and skip the preheat • Running late? Alarms are iPhone notifications, so keep notifications on and your ringer up to hear them.
