Sjoeltegel is sjoelen, the Dutch shuffleboard game, painted on a Delft blue tile. Slide thirty wooden discs up the board and through four little gates. Every full set of 2, 3, 4 and 1 scores twenty points, the rest count their gate. Stones that stop short stay on the board, so the next one can knock them through. Three rounds, 148 points to dream of. PAINTED, NOT GENERATED Every line on the board is drawn live in cobalt blue, with the slight wobble of a hand-painted tile. Your scores go on a pencil score sheet, tallied the way you would at the kitchen table. A NEW TILE EVERY DAY One board for everyone, often with a twist: a wooden peg in the way, narrow gates, a rough board, reversed values. One try counts. Share your result without spoiling a thing, and keep your streak going. RUN MODE Eight tiles with rising targets. Score points × multiplier: every full set raises the multiplier. After each cleared tile, pick a reward: a windmill disc that splits in two, a heavy anchor, a gull that flies through other discs, a sun that scores triple, a crown that fills a set. Or a better gate, beeswax for a slicker board, an hourglass for an extra round. Every fourth tile is a boss tile. FAMILY GAMES Two to six players pass the phone around the table. Highest score wins. FEELS LIKE WOOD Wooden clacks, a hollow tok for every gate, a soft tap in your hand when discs collide. FREE AND FAIR Classic games and the daily tile are free, always.
