Latrunculi brings an ancient Roman strategy game to iPhone and iPad through a modern reconstruction featuring the Dux, your army’s leader.
Move your pieces horizontally or vertically across the board, trap enemy soldiers between your own, and build a position that leaves the opposing Dux with nowhere to move. Every advance opens new possibilities—and may leave a weakness behind.
PLAY YOUR WAY
Challenge the computer at three difficulty levels, share a device with a friend, or play online through Game Center. Turn-based online matches let you make your move and return when your opponent has played.
A ROMAN LOOK AND FEEL
Choose from four board styles: leather, marble, walnut, and stone. Ivory and black counters feature raised crosses, while each army’s Dux stands out with its distinctive pyramid shape. Atmospheric menu music and sound effects accompany the experience.
