Say something and Twain translates it with AI into large text on the screen. Hand your phone over, and the other person replies with the big button in their own language. They don’t need the app, or to know how to use your phone.
ONE PHONE, TWO PEOPLE
• The translation fills the screen in large text, with what you said in small print below. Tap play to read it out loud.
• The big button in the corner is labeled in the other person’s language, like “話す” or “말하기”, so they know exactly what to press. When they finish, the large text switches to your language.
• Talk or type: somewhere noisy, type instead.
• Turn your phone sideways and the translation scrolls by in one line of huge text. Pick the background and text colors so it’s easy to read across a counter.
SAVED PHRASES: READY BEFORE YOU GO, EVEN OFFLINE
Keep a set of phrases for each language. While you’re online, type what you often say (“Could you speak more slowly?”, “Sorry, I don’t understand.”…) and Twain translates them and saves them on your phone. Once you’re there, tap one to show it in large text.
GROUP CHAT: EVERYONE READS THEIR OWN LANGUAGE
When everyone has Twain, one person opens a room over Bluetooth and the people nearby join. Each person talks or types on their own phone and gets every message in their own language. Set a 4-digit password if you like; 2 to 5 people works best.

PRIVACY
To translate, Twain sends just that sentence to Google’s Gemini (plus your glossary, for one-phone translation), without your name or the rest of the conversation. We have no servers of our own and never see what you translate; your history, settings and saved phrases stay on your phone. No sign-up, no ads, no tracking.
