CORRECTIONS THAT NEVER ERASE Amend any entry with a new one that points back to it, and the original shows "Amended by № 218" for good. Void an act that didn't happen: struck through, still legible, exactly like a paper journal's single-line cross-out. LOCKED MEANS LOCKED Saved entries can never be edited or deleted. A cryptographic hash chain links every entry to the one before it, so any change to the record is evident to you, to an auditor, to anyone you hand the export. Verify Journal checks the whole chain in one tap, and a Journal Receipt lets you anchor today's journal by emailing yourself one line. SCAN THE LICENSE, SKIP THE TYPING Point the camera at the barcode on the back of a US driver's license or state ID and the signer's details fill themselves. Attest reads the text and never photographs or stores the ID.
