What's New in Version 3.1.2 • Refreshed look on iOS 26: map controls, tour details, the tutorial and notifications now use Apple's new Liquid Glass design. • The map buttons have a new rounded look, and the main menu button stands out more clearly. • Fixed buttons that sometimes didn't respond to a tap — the menu button on the map, and the arrows and dots in the tutorial. • The tutorial's page control is now easy to read in light mode, where it could previously appear almost invisible. • Fixed map markers that could show the wrong preview image. • Corrected a historical photo that was assigned to the wrong spot. • Icons no longer flicker briefly when you open a tour or a spot. • Smaller visual corrections to the navigation bar, titles and the start screen.

The Mauerschau app is now also available for streaming, with our new Couch Potato mode and in English! With our streaming version, you can now save time and storage space on your smartphone. Choose between the two video formats Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) in the app settings, depending on the capacity of your streaming provider or streaming contract. In Couch Potato mode, you may also experience our Mauerschau eyewitness tours entirely and comfortably at home: While lying on your sofa, follow the eyewitness stories on the map of Berlin, discover the places today with the “panoramic view” and compare how they looked back then in our archive footage
