iPECS UCS is a mobile client App for UCS P5.5 system. As an iPECS client device, iPECS UCS has access to the various features of the iPECS host. iPECS UCS clients employ Wi-Fi or mobile data network to connect with UCS P5.5 system for business communication services such as presence, call, and voicemail. There are differences in the iPECS UCS functions depending on which host system is used, and the function screen may be different as a result. I want to like the app. I really do. But it fails me each time I need to use it. The amount of phone restarts and redownloads of the app I need to do before I can make a successful call is certainly a challenge and very time consuming. It’s simply not reliable.

Voice mail to short? It doesn’t record it. Use a hands free blue tooth while out of the office? It doesn’t play well with blue tooth. Want to stop the annoying ring if you are in a meeting? Can’t do it. Want to save a voice mail? The screen locks up. This was day one.

The app drains my iPhone X battery by over 80% every 24 hours. This occurs even when the app has been closed.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. - Search feature issue with special characters is fixed. - Handover issue is fixed
