The interface is clean, and very intuitive. I bought this only for the matting feature, so I have not assessed the framing elements. For basic matting it should do a great job.The biggest missing feature, for me, is the option to have different border widths on the top and bottom of the mat. There are options for a single width, and for symmetric horizontal and vertical widths, but nothing to allow weighting of the mat.A wish list item would be the option to import a jpg of the picture I wish to frame so that I can experiment with the mat border widths to get the best visual effect.

Useless at measuring and cutting mats. What should the interior dimensions be? Who knows.

Most images when matted are not equally distant on all 4 sides. This calculator only allows you to do an equally distant mat width on all 4 sides. Most images to be framed will have a “weighted” lower portion of the mat to be “heavier” a.k.a. wider.This app won’t let you do that. Too bad otherwise it works great.
