قال تعالى: ( خذ من أموالهم صدقة تطهرهم وتزكيهم بها وصل عليهم إن صلاتك سكن لهم والله سميع عليم) [التوبة:103].
وقال تعالى: ( الذين ينفقون أموالهم بالليل والنهار سرا وعلانية فلهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون) [ البقرة:274].
و قال : ( إنَّ اللهَ يقبلُ الصدقةَ ، و يأخذُها بيمينِه ، فيُربِّيها لأحدِكم كما يُربِّي أحدُكم مُهرَه ، حتى إنَّ الُّلقمةَ لتصيرُ مثلَ أحُدٍ ) صحيح الترغيب 856
و قال : ( إنَّ الصَّدقةَ لتُطفيءُ عَن أهلِها حرَّ القبورِ ، وإنَّما يَستَظلُّ المؤمِنُ يومَ القيامةِ في ظلِّ صدقتِهِ ) صحيح الترغيب 873
و قال : ( الصلاةُ قُربانٌ ، و الصيامُ جُنَّةٌ ، و الصدقةُ تُطفِئُ الخطيئةَ كما يُطفئُ الماءُ النارَ ) صحيح الترغيب 866
و قال : ( خيرُ الصدقةِ من كان عن ظَهرِ غِنًى ، و ابدأْ بمن تعولُ ) صحيح الجامع 3281
