Discover invisible electromagnetic fields around you in seconds.
Create a healthier living environment by identifying and avoiding high EMF pollution zones in your home.
Turn your iPhone into a powerful EMF detector and magnetic field scanner.
Detect electromagnetic fields (EMF) around you instantly using the built-in sensor already inside your device — no expensive equipment required. Whether you want to monitor electromagnetic radiation in your home, locate hidden magnetic sources, or even explore paranormal activity, this app gives you a simple and exciting way to measure the invisible world around you.
Use the app to scan bedrooms, walls, electrical appliances, Wi-Fi zones, sockets, microwaves, wireless devices, and more. Discover areas with unusually high magnetic activity and receive an instant warning beep when strong EMF levels are detected. Many users also enjoy using the app during ghost hunts and paranormal investigations, as sudden magnetic fluctuations are often associated with supernatural activity.
NEW: Experience EMF detection in Augmented Reality.
Visualize electromagnetic fields in Augmented Reality to better understand how EMFs spread throughout your home, office, or workspace. The app allows you to see a figurative representation of magnetic activity around you, helping you identify high-radiation zones and understand how far electromagnetic fields may reach in real-world environments.
Explore EMFs in a more immersive and intuitive way by combining real-time detection with AR visualization technology.
Transform your iPhone into a digital EMF Meter, Teslameter, or electromagnetic field tester using the internal compass hardware. View live magnetic field readings in real time and monitor changes on all three axes (X, Y, Z).
Scientists, engineers, students, teachers, paranormal investigators, and curious explorers use EMF detectors to measure magnetic activity in everyday environments.
Why use this app?
• Detect high electromagnetic field zones around you
• Monitor EMF levels near beds, appliances, or workspaces
• Receive warning alerts when strong magnetic radiation is detected
• Track and store measurements with time and date stamps
• Investigate unusual magnetic fluctuations during ghost hunting sessions

Electromagnetic radiation may come from electrical wiring, appliances, wireless devices, cordless phones, Wi-Fi equipment, sockets, and other electronic sources in your environment.
Tips:
For best accuracy, calibrate your iPhone by moving it in a figure-8 motion before use.
Important:
This app requires an iPhone with compass hardware and will not work on iPod Touch devices.
Disclaimer:
This app is intended for entertainment and informational purposes only. It uses the iPhone magnetometer sensor to detect magnetic field variations near ferromagnetic objects and electromagnetic sources.

I love this EMF detection app. It does not claim to do and be a bunch of things that it is not and cannot do. Obviously there are limitations to what a cell phone can do and I understand those limitations. This app does not claim to solve all your problems and the UI is simple enough that my 5 and 7 year old can and do use it… I haven’t used the premium version so I cannot speak to what other features they may offer, but the free version has been enough for me to use as my go to cell phone emf app. Not too many adds either. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the lack of ability to specify how many objects were detected and what their output is. Maybe that is also impossible for a cell phone app, but I would like the option to at least choose my target or maybe an augmented reality that would allow me to look around and see what objects are producing what readings… they do however provide an informative page or two of examples of what kind of output certain types of machines produce, so I guess they are assuming to you can get a rough estimation based on the specific emitters are in your vicinity. (Also, the way the developers convey the information about emf and it’s potential hazards sounds like they have a genuine concern for the public’s well being. Couple that with a great free version and it makes me feel better supporting someone that actually cares and believes in what they are selling…) Thanks to the developers! We appreciate your time and efforts!
Easy to Use/ Very Useful and Detailed EMF Info

Info Section is extremely Informative(literally) on EMF subject- From EMF sources w/ the amount of EMFs listed in microTeslas to provide an accurate measurement of the amount of exposure experienced from use of the specified appliance, in addition to MANY different solutions, probable preventive measures, etc The buzzing sound, heard during the process of EMF measurement, could become a bit irritating once you exceed 10+measurements back to back, but adds to the app’s appearance and ability to provide the user with another feature to support the validity of the measurement results on a smartphone opposed to an actual emF device. Just as the added effect would provide a similar perception of used as a taser on a smartphone rather than an actual taser, helps to convince the mind to believe our smartphone has the same capabilities as the device it mimics in title and functionality. One disadvantage; which only began recently with this app, is its ability to display an accurate reading once the EMF listed in microtesla exceeds 1 MicroTesla. When this occurs, the measurement process halts and the displayed measurement flickers .12 on the screen repeatedly until you move your device and the measurement is reduced to .95 or less which triggers the measurement process to continue as normal. This wasn’t an issue when I first downloaded this app several years ago: Other than that it’s easy to use and is a great reference source for any subject pertaining to EMF radiation especially the effects it has on humans and what we can do about it .
Magnets: toys are fun
Now a lefty
My husband works with REAL EMF emitters due to his job: Tower operations. He has to wear a high tech meter which is much like a voltmeter. You wouldn’t use your phone to test if there was a live wire in your house to not electrocute yourself while installing a new outlet or light switch because 1) it’s impossible 2) not it’s purpose. This is a novelty app, a toy, and so I’ll give it a better than 1 star rating for functionality of the app, not its intention just development function, it works and doesn’t crash. But as for what it claims it does, it does not. Don’t pay for this. Play with it, test it, but remember it’s a toy. If you did spend money, I am sorry, it’s akin to paying for your coffee three times: first when you buy it, second when you tip too high for it. Your phone can not detect EMF. Period. A brand new magnet, out the package not near or having ever touched an electrical device emitted very high. A second magnet, same. My clock: nothing. My Fitbit: nothing. My stove: Nothing! A fridge magnet, omg dangerous. A flat quarter sized magnet for my clipboard: dangerously high. And only when I touch it to the phone. If you want a real monitor if you are truly concerned about EMF and your health, please do yourself a favor and put your money towards a real meter. Otherwise understand that this app and apps like this are a novelty item, a toy.
Better if it showed microVolts

I like this. I sit in front of 5 computers, 6 monitors and a UPS. I decided to buy an EMF detector but didn't want to spend much money to find the source of an unknown problem until I was clear that there was something worth testing. First I bought a highly rated but inexpensive EMF detector. That showed no EM emissions so it was useless. Then a Google search showed this EMF Detector app so I figured I'd try it. I put my phone in front of a large laser printer and turned the printer on-and-off. Wow! The app went from near 0 to high then back again. I would guess the app can't be too accurate but it's good enough at showing me emissions that I can compare. I may buy a more expensive, analog EMF detector (~$130) now that I know there is something to test. Much of the information about EMF in the US is in microVolts so it would help to be able to switch between microTeslas and microVolts.
