Needs One More Feature
Disappointed in Va.
I love this app and I use it several times a week to wake up various computers on my home network. It never fails. However, I have a similar app I use on Windows PCs and after sending a magic packet, it pings the target computer and lets me know when it it is awake and usable. If Remote Wake Up had that feature, it would be a solid 5 stars.

Maybe Not Compatible with My Setup?
Johssm
Entered all the information but couldn’t get it to work. I think the problem is that I wasn’t able to enter the Subnet “Broadcast IP” of x.x.x.255 I used a different program where that field is available and was able to wake my PC with that application. System is Windows 10.ASUS-ROG G20 PCRealtek PCI-E NIC Ensured my Bios, Network Card, Router, etc., settings were all correct. As I said, the only difference between this app and the one that works for me was the other app allowed me to add the broadcast address.

No where does it say you computer has to hard connected to the router. After purchassing this then i found this in the FAQ when i could not get it to work.Requesting a refund and asking this be added to the description as this is a critical part.
Developer Response
Hi RobbieG63,Thanks for your feedback, and I’m sorry for any confusion. A router is ONLY required if you want to wake a device outside your local network. For devices within the same local network, no router connection is needed.I appreciate your suggestion to clarify this in the app description, I’ll consider making it clearer to avoid confusion. If you want, I’m happy to help you set up Remote Wake Up correctly. Just send me an email at support@witt-software.com.Thanks for trying the app,– Daniel
