It's a fun game. A little frustrating at times because there is no hint option and sometimes it freezes so you have to exit out and start a level behind. The rooms are not always easy to navigate, you tap a million times and it finally changes screens.

It is a decent way to spend 30 minutes of your day. (Took about 20-30 minutes to complete entire game.) Only 8 rooms, but it's a free game so I'm not complaining there. I just found that many of the "hints" they lead you to have nothing to do with solving the puzzle. Sometimes the puzzles are incredibly easy...and then you'll run across one that is nonsensical. Like who has the knowledge off the top of their head that the answer to "A bird that cannot fly" is "Kiwi". There are a number of birds that cannot fly....so I just found that puzzle a bit off and odd considering the hints placed in that room.

I reviewed the first version of this game, and like that one, this CYETH 3 is visually attractive. The graphics are clean, rendered pretty well and dimensional. It responds well to the touch, but there are very few objects to find and few puzzles to solve. There are many close-up views that offer nothing at all - no objects or puzzles - so you waste a lot of time looking for nothing. Game 3 is actually less challenging than 2. I was often surprised how quickly and unexpectedly I got the door opened in this one, thinking there must be more to do before it opens. Overall, not one of my favorite series, but not bad.

16 minute escape no bonus

Escaped in 16 min flat with no bonus levels. Unlocking 1st bonus level now. Game is great! Glad they are at releasing new games very often to satisfy my escape game craving. Overall the puzzles are good and makes me feel like I'm in an actual room trying to escape. Would be awesome to have on a device such as Oculus :P If you haven't played the first two, go play those first before tackling this 3rd house escape.
