Super Grav is a retro gravity cave flyer for 1-4 players, featuring single player or co-op multiplayer missions, racing and dogfighting. With fast-paced, super smooth 60fps gameplay, pixel-perfect collision detection and that ‘just right’ feel to the physics, Super Grav offers a true test of skill, precision and reflexes. Dodge enemies and bullets, navigate caverns to complete Missions either solo or co-op, battle deathmatch in Dogfight mode or see who can complete 3 subterranean laps the fastest in Race mode. Back by popular demand, with graphics inspired by the 8-bit and 16-bit era of gaming, Super Grav is an extended remake of DemonStudios founder James Shaughnessy’s very own first game and 1998 Net Yaroze coverdisc hit, Gravitation. Features: - Pixel-perfect collision detection and super smooth 60fps gameplay - Single-player Mission and time trial Race modes - Face-to-face 2-player tabletop play using just the touchscreen - Local multiplayer split-screen up to 4 players(*) - Novice, Normal and Expert difficulty modes make it easy for beginners to learn how to fly - Game Center online Leaderboards and Achievements - compete with friends for the best Mission scores and fastest Race times - Textbook 1, 2 or 3-Star rating on each mission. Nice gravity game, but very tough

I’ve alway had a fondness for gravity games where you have to negotiate your ship around caverns whilst fighting against gravity. This game is well done, with 8-bit style graphics and sound and it plays very smoothly.Gameplay’s pretty simple: you have to pick up crates at one location and deliver them to another. In addition to squeezing through tight spots, there are enemies, both fixed and moving, to avoid or zap.I enjoyed playing the game, but ultimately I gave up as the levels get really tough. Your ship gets destroyed with a single hit, whilst your enemies take several hits. You just fire one shot at a time, so you’re constantly firing, twisting and thrusting to try and hit your targets. Some of the power-ups greatly boost your firepower, but if you make a mistake then you’re back to your pea shooter. Initially the crates are on the ground and so easy to pick up, but then you start finding them on the ceiling or the walls (!), which makes them much more tricky. There’s plenty of challenge here if you’re willing to put in the time and effort, but it was a bit too much for me.
