WIJD serves the Mobile, AL area with a population of 550,000. In the 1990's, WIJD carried syndicated talk radio programs before switching to a full time Christian formatted station in October of 2003. Wilkins Radio purchased WIJD in 2006 and continued the Christian talk programming. The mission of WIJD is to serve our Lord through Christian teaching and preaching programming. WJD broadcasts quality national Christian programs as well as local church ministries.
