Did I just see a One-Eyed Monster? After some experiments done by our little witch Brujis, while she was playing around int the castle, Barry was created, a curious one eye monster who is eager to show us around the castle. Find him hidden around words and catch him as the runs. Let him teach you some experiments in which he will show you how to write correctly words in Spanish. In the first experiment, you will need to see through a special “sound” microscope to find the exact place where a syllable sounds stronger in each word. This experiment will help us out with the others, so pay attention. Enter the laboratory, where floating words have to be contained and dragged to the correct beakers to win the prize flasks. Barry has made it clear to win all the prize flasks, you must follow the rules. He has written down all the rules needed to complete each experiment and hidden some friends in each rule to help you out and give you hints. Read each rule and look for Barry’s friends, complete each new experiment and soon you will have mastered accentuation in Spanish, something essential to the correct spelling of Spanish Words, and easy to learn a skill if you know the rules to follow. I should have known all those 5 star reviews from 2 years ago were fake when I didn’t see any current ones. This app is clearly not for learners. Without some means of English translation of instructions and words this app is totally useless to anyone but the advanced student or native speaker. Information on level appropriateness should be part of the description. Even though I only looked at free version; it was a waste of time downloading, reviewing, and deleting.

Thank you for your feedback. All our apps have a settings button to show Spanish and English, but if you talked about the spelling rules specifically, we never believed that displaying them in English would be helpful, because spelling in Spanish is for people that actually can read and write in Spanish, but it sounds like a good idea to consider. Maybe the confusion is the word spelling because in English it is another concept (in Spanish it means "deletreo") but we could not find a better phrase to refer to "Reglas de Ortografía" (Spelling Rules).

I should have known all those 5 star reviews from 2 years ago were fake when I didn’t see any current ones. This app is clearly not for learners. Thank you for all your support over these 12 years. We've updated our apps so the next generation of children can continue to use and enjoy them. What a great investment for the schools and families who have supported us from the beginning ! Starting with this version, support will be for iOS 15 or later, but if you have older devices, you can continue downloading previous versions.
