The most handy measuring tool kit in the world. Turning your iPhone or iPad into a multi functional measuring device with: metronome, stopwatch, timer, seismometer, ruler, surface level and many more.
Currently, there are 13 measuring tools + Flashlight in the tool box:
- BAROMETER
It gives you a nice and clear local atmospheric pressure, obtained from the barometric sensor in your device
- ALTIMETER
This tool takes advantage of the built in GPS to give you the precise elevation above the sea level.
- COMPASS
A pretty and well-made compass for navigation, traveling and direction reference purposes.
- TESLAMETER
It takes advantage of the built-in magnetometer in your iPhone/iPod touch, allows you to monitor the strength of magnetic field all around. There are a range of real-life applications for this useful item, such as: metal detector, AC magnetic fields, or finding low-magnetic places for sleeping
- METRONOME
It is the most precise and stable metronome on the app store. Whether you are a musician, a music teacher, a beginner at playing music or even a golfer, this tool provides you a set of powerful features that can satisfy all your needs.
- STOPWATCH
Whenever you need a precise and professional stopwatch for sport activities like: sprints, jogging, this tool is a must have. Among its features are: intuitive interface, lap and split modes support, or send log results to your email
- TIMER
There are unlimited applications of using timer in daily life, such as: egg timer, tea timer, cooking, alarm clock, etc. The timer tool satisfies all of those needs by many of its features: up to 5 timers running simultaneously, count down and count up support, intuitive and convenient duration setup using preset and gestures
- SEISMOMETER
Taking advantage of the built-in accelerometer in your iPhone, this tool detects and visualizes any vibrations and moves of the iPhone. So, why not using this excellent feature to help your iPhone self-protected like a car when combined with an alarm? Or another great application is to test how smooth the car is on a test drive
- PLUMB BOB
This is an instrument to check if an object is perfectly vertical/plumb and has been used since the time of the ancient Egyptians. It suits any types of your needs, such as: hanging objects, carpenter work, brick layer or building construction
- SURFACE LEVEL
This tool facilitates the measurement of the slope of whatever surface you want to check. Most importantly, its accuracy is ensured at the maximum level by the support to different sensitivities that allow you to detect subtle slopes (floor leveling, furniture arrangement,..)
- SPIRIT/BUBBLE LEVEL
It is a simple but extremely useful tool in the set to check if an object is balanced. Its applications range from entertained purposes such as checking pool billiard tables in the bar to serious usages like constructions, carpenter, etc
- RULER
The ruler helps you precisely know the lengths of objects all around you, such as pens, tables, pictures. We built it to become even more than just a normal ruler: longest distance measuring capability, and up to 6 units support
- PROTRACTOR
Have you ever forgotten your protractor at school or when you urgently look for a protractor to measure any kind of angles in real life?
The Teslameter alone makes this app awesome. For one; as an Electrician I can use this app to check for Live Wires w/ just my iPhone! Some other cool uses are to like search somebody for a ‘bug’, microphone, or if they’re trying to hide their cellphone… Maybe only useful in the movies but still, it’s possible. Just for Do-It-Yourselfers’ there’s multiple types of Levels & Protractors, plumb bob; to get all your projects together perfectly by just using your phone! Replaces half a toolbox/tool belt when combined w/ the ‘Augmented Reality Measuring App; which is pretty dang accurate. Great for chopping on 2x4’s w/ the Measure App & this Toolobox app. No need for measuring tape when you always have the phone in your pocket! Nice to have, I recommend Toolbox
So Far it’s Great!!!

I’ve only had this app for a short while, but the flash light is super bright and that’s so great! Especially compared to other ones I’ve tried. The other little tools are very cool. I would like to comment on the constant pop up requesting me to upgrade. I find that to be completely annoying and if I wanted to upgrade I would have already done so. I cannot afford to pay for apps due to severe and chronic health problems, so please be considerate and remove the pop up. We are not idiots and we are all aware we can upgrade if we want, but it’s very very frustrating to have to continuously deal with pop ups and questions on upgrades from apps! Thank you.
Broken on iPad Pro

I wish I’d backed up the previous version so I could revert! Tried to run v4.6 on 2 iPad Pros, iOS 11.3, and it crashes on both as soon as I try to do anything. Searched for a way to contact the developer but couldn’t find one. Maybe it’s accessible from the app (if it didn’t crash).Actually, what happens is that iOS still shows it as running from the Mission Control screen, but no app windows or functions show.I hope there’s a bug fix SOON.
Very Classy, But . . .

Yesterday I downloaded the standalone version of Barometer 14, which is also included in this app. I was so annoyed by all of the app purchase ads being thrown in my face, so I wrote a review for it, but subtracted two stars because of the ads, as well as due to a very important feature which was missing from it.Less than an hour ago I downloaded the free version of Toolbox. I was surprised by the number of cool tools it contains, including the barometer. But, alas, it too slammed me with a lot of in-app purchase ads. GGGRRR!!!But then I saw that I could have all of these cool tools, ad-free, for just a few bucks, so I bit the bullet. No ads! Nice!My one big complaint about the barometer tool in Toolbox, is that like this same developer’s standalone Barometer 14 app, it does not have the ability to display a history of pressures in graphic form, which is constantly updated. This pressures history graph is very important, because by looking at the progression of recorded pressures over a period of days and weeks, the user can determine two important things:1. If the storm is strengthening or weakening.2. If the storm is still approaching the user’s location, or has already made its CPA, and is moving away. This information — the history/trending graph — is particularly important when one lives in an area where the power goes out — due to the approaching storm — and all external weather information cannot be accessed. In such a case, all one may have to rely on is the information available to him in the barometer tool on his iPhone.I speak from 32 years of personal experience of living in the most typhoon-active region in the world. So please seriously consider adding a self-updating pressure history graph to your barometer tool in Toolbox. And BTW, one of your competitor’s apps ALREADY has this ability. Thanks for listening. Make it so. 😁
Thanks for using Toolbox! Here's what's new for the version 5.4.0:
