Wonder exactly how cold it was two days ago or how much snow fell last week? Maybe you’re wondering what the weather was like on the day you were born? This app provides the temperature, rain, and snowfall observations on a selected day for thousands of sites across the U.S. Pick any location, either through the map interface or by a city search, along with the day that interests you. The actual recorded data for that day is provided as well as a chart of observations that include surrounding days.

This is the only free app I could find that gives weather history, to answer questions like “How much rain did we get last week?”. It provides weather history for any single day, or a chart for any one-week period. The app is clear and simple, and works well. It would be nice if the developer would add the capability to show longer periods (a month, perhaps), and climate averages for comparison (Was last week unusually cold and rainy?). I give it five stars.

A map that does nothing but shows you a loading icon for... well, I stopped using it after 5 minutes and it was still loading. Useless. Don't download.

App is ok. Please fix the "refresh" button. It is so close to the date, it changes the date rather than refreshing. Somewhat frustrating.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. •Tutorial is available through the “About” page •The “Get Data” button is more accessible. •No alert when a station is tagged as a favorite or untagged •When dates are at the max/min date of the station record, the chart shows that date at the right/left of the axis.
