TIFFTool displays all of the image details and metadata contained in TIFF image files. TIFF files contain a list of 'tags' for each page. TIFFTool allows you to see the information for every tag in all pages of TIFF files. The following features are available: 1 - Select files from the Finder or drag/drop them onto TIFFTool 2 - Information for all tags and all pages are displayed in a convenient list 3 - Display the information in decimal or hexadecimal representation 4 - Copy the tag information as comma-delimited text to the clipboard ** New ** Now TIFFTool (1.05) can display JPEG marker information

With a TIFF file that is considered good, the app crashed as soon as I tried to scroll the screen.But what I was really hoping for was for it to give me some hint of what is wrong with a TIFF file produced by a particular program. Unfortunately, all it gave me was a blank screen. (But it didn't really promise that functionality, so I can't really complain about that.)

The main issue is that the window size is fixed, and there's no horizontal scroll bar. Thus if a tag is moderately long, there's no way to see it all.Also, the columns are not sortable, nor can you copy anything out of a row. Really, it hjust shows you (some of the) tags, and that's it.
