368+ Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Guide for CA Law Enforcement

Education

Free · Designed for iPad

One in ten older Americans experiences abuse or neglect each year. The numbers of abuse reports are growing at the same time that resources for agency responses are shrinking. To help California law enforcement in this critical work, here is a mobile app "cheat sheet" for responding to abuse of elders and dependent adults (vulnerable adults with disabilities). Content and assistance to refine this product were provided by colleagues from law enforcement, civil law, and medicine. For a limited time, 368+ Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Guide for CA Law Enforcement is available free of charge, thanks to supporters like The Archstone Foundation and UniHealth Foundation.
