Reading the reviews visual left makes 100% sense. There is no way to categorize and save without having to go through each individual gif. I’m sure you guys are hard at work trying to resolve the problem and come up with a decent solution in a timely manner while trying to for fill the needs of the every day people but just because the people don’t make requests and leave feedback that doesn’t make us part of the every day people either. Because without us there wouldn’t be the improvements that are needed to make your app that much more success among The crowd. As GIFs become more and more popular and sustained in modern pop culture, it is apparent that they are here to stay. So in hindsight..any requests that come through that are for the developers to make a change.. this is something you should have a section in your department ready to go at a moments notice. Look at it like this, the quicker the algorithms get put together the quicker you can get more customers and consumers however you would like to label it..."Users" there you go...(If only we had a cure for the common brain fart LOL). But make sure your "think tank" over there is putting themselves in the shoes of the common 17-year-old 22-year-old 30-year-old what have you. That way you can stay ahead of the curve and feedback will be needed, but maybe sometims less to make better...just to tweek I guess lol. GIPHY is Amazing, App not so Good

In my first two hours using this app, out of 20 attempted uploads (editing and tagging every time) only one successfully uploaded, processed, and posted, and it was on an attempt that I did not add the tags that the GIF needed. I tried on Wi-Fi and on data, I am running the newest iOS on an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I don’t know why it wouldn’t be working, but that’s a big problem for new users, any users really.The editing is limited but good enough for what I would want in any GIF. The role GIPHY plays in modern social media is immeasurable, and in regards to a rating, their wide range of integrations and third-party support is far more impactful and impressive than their app’s quality could ever be a damage to their reputation.Thanks, GIPHY.

While there theoretically may be GIFs in GIPHY's database that aren't terrible, you are not going to find them using the app's "search" tool because it can only look up existing tags, and only one tag at a time at that. If the word(s) in your "search terms" aren't an existing tag, you will get 0 results. This also means your "search" results will be the most boring and/or unaesthetic GIFs from decades ago that you would be embarrassed to send to your aunt that still forwards Nigerian Prince chain emails.If you do manage to find a reasonable GIF in their database by searching with Google, attempting to 'Visit' said GIF from Google's search results will force you to open the app, and instead of showing that GIF, it uses the GIF's first tag and does a new look up on it. Your GIF might be in the results or it might not, but you will be presented with a slew of other awful GIFs that might be relevant to what you were looking for.And don't attempt to copy and paste animate GIFs as all you will see is the title (key) frame.TL;DR: GIPHY is the primary reason why most people think GIFs are lame.
