Loved it until I got a new Mac

I really loved this program until I got a new mac. It had everything I needed and was so easy to use. Now I have a new Mac and I’m trying to restore my database to the new Mac, it won’t work. I contacted support 12 days ago and no reply. Seriously????? There is no other means of contact for this company other than to submit a ticket. It says you will receive a response within 24 hours. Last I checked 12 days is a lot more than 24 hours. Hoping they check their reviews.

I have been using this app for several years now and have been happy with it, even though it would act up from time to time and simply fail to export a database to dropbox. Taking backups before making changes addressed this issue, but it was a pain to have to rekey information in hopes that it works the secong time. In Jan 2024 a new version was released that broke my databases. Trying to add a record on the iPhone or iPad simply caused the app to shut down. On the iMax, I could add a record but could not enter any information. Pulling the prior version of the application from my Time Machine backup got things working again. I have tried to reach out to support for help and they are not responding. I am now trying out other database applications to replace iDatabase. A shame really as this was a good product. Now I need to port everything over to a new platform. Fun. It is also impossible to get support. There is absolutly no way to speak to a person.

No info on why it stopped it working, why you need to pay to get it working again-there is no free version. There is nothing on the App Store page that says you need to upgrade or pay for it. You do have 30 days to decide to pay for it. Update: NINE MONTHS later I get a reply. Apimac"Thank you for your feedback. I miss the simple, clean design, database programs of the long lost past. They were quick and easy to use which encouraged you to use them.I find iDatabase such a program/App. I found it intuitive to use and I'll keep exploring what I can do with it. I'm still new to iDatabase so I'll hold off on suggestions for what I'd like to see added if any.The fact that this App is non-data collection makes this App a keeper.
