Idle Heroes - 아이들 히어로‪즈‬ 9+

I have been playing this game for quite some time, and recent events have made me write this review.

Let me say, I love this game. But it’s too difficult to get anywhere without spending money. I’m an avid player, I play every day at 5:00 when my events and whatnot reset, and everyday I max out everything I can do. I may not be the most efficient in the world, but I know what I’m doing. I’m a recent event, the Imps Adventure. I managed to complete all of the shelter mission rewards that gave me the events required items, and I bought the max limit that I could buy with gems without spending any money. It was very difficult, but honestly through that whole week it wasn’t even worth it. The rewards I recieved got me almost nowhere, and I put an hour at least a day into this game. I love it a lot but they really need to make it scale with level on your rewards even a little bit. I’m receiving about the same rewards I was at level 30, and I’m level 113. Developers, if you are reading this, I love your game, but please please please make it playable late game for mostly free to play players. I don’t mind dropping 10 or 20 here or there but I never want to have to pay 50 bucks to even get half of what I need to progress a tiny bit, or grind for 2 months to get the chance for the equivalent of such. All in all love the game but later on levels need serious reworking

I love this game, straight up. That being said, you need to understand what kind of game this is in order to enjoy it. First off, no content in this game is behind a paywall per se, BUT you have to realize that if you choose to be Free to Play, you will progress slower than others that choose to spend a little money. The beauty of that is, the majority of content within the game is PVE, which means it doesn’t matter how you stack up against others, you can progress at your own pace. The PVP modes will allow you to see how you do compare against others, but unless you’re a massive whale, you won’t reach the tippy top of PVP for a very very long time. The thing is, thats okay. Your PVP experience will pit you against other players of your level, which will likely be other Free to Play players or low spenders. You won’t feel like you’re unfairly underpowered in the game, just know that in order to progress it will take time, strategy, and resource management to beat the next challenge. I think this a great game, and it gets constant support from devs to keep things fresh. It is a slow grind, if you’re someone that takes pride in each little ounce of progress made, you will thoroughly enjoy it. It also doesn’t require a ton of time sink, you can log in for 20-30 minutes a day and still progress. Very enjoyable experience, 5 stars for sure.

Listen, the game is great! The Heroes are amazing, the gameplay is perfect, and the events to help you get more items is helpful (sometimes). I’ve played the game for years, and I’ve loved it. Truly I did. Yet there are some problems that I don’t like. The First one is evolving your heroes. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to evolve your heroes (not to mention to evolve them to E5). You need TONS of different spare heroes to evolve the hero you want, yet it is incredibly difficult to get the spare and the heroes you need to evolve them. The Second one is the difficulty getting Transcendence Heroes. Now, don’t get me wrong, the Transcendence Heroes are great looking, and have amazing skills (that will really help you), yet the difficulty for getting a single one of them is absurd. The place where it says “you need to have an E5 hero to open this” is absurd, and I presume that’s where you get them. Getting a single E5 hero is incredibly hard (Reinforcing the First Problem for me). For me, and some other players who have difficulty with trying to get into that one place, I suggest maybe having a single (or more) 10 Star Hero to get in (since I have at least 2). Believe me, the game is great but those 2 problems are the problems that I’ve been dealing with.
