I kinda want a refund..

I’m not mad I’m just shook and disturbed. I got a brand new iPhone and was looking for anew game. I’ve played something similar so this one stuck on me. I fell for all the predatory popups urging me to a package deal. Sold on the value and the fun, I spent nearly over $300 in two days.
My only concern is that now the game is increasingly lagging and often won’t even load. All in the span of 3 days playing this game.
I also experienced a lag where the game was saying I am in second place on the event but the leaderboard shows me in first (as I should be) with a major difference between me and second place.
This level of uncertainty makes me not want to keep spending my money which at this point makes me want to stop playing altogether. And as it’s all been only a period of 3 days I really wish I could get a refund.

Initially fun

This is not the game that is shown in their advertisements, so if you are hoping to play that game, keep looking elsewhere. The title of my review says “initially fun”, because the game is a little entertaining for a couple levels. But then you’ll realize every level is pretty much the same concept, it just takes longer to ‘unlock’ items. The concept is you provide goods to customers. You start with offering water, then bandages, matches, and so on. You can somewhat control how fast you serve customers, so it’s easy to prevent getting overwhelmed by customers. I have A couple other complaints as well. The game has an “offline” mode, which means you continue collecting resources even when you’re offline. But there’s a time limit of two hours. So, to continue collecting, you have to log into the game and collect whatever (money and shovels, so far for me) and then close the game again. My frustration is that this mechanic teaches me to just log in collect log out. No other actions. After doing this a couple days of real time, I realize I’m not actually playing the game at all, so there’s no point to continue logging in. I delete the app completely at that point. That’s where I am already with this game. And I’ve had it less than two days.

New areas will be unlocked throughout the game, like missions, arena, and much more. We’d definitely stick around to find out the entire story, as it’s interesting.

Very good at first, becomes play to win.

This game is very addicting and cute but the ads and play to win aspect of it takes so much of the fun out of it. I’m on the 4th world currently and it’s extremely slow and difficult to progress because I only have one of the ‘exotic’ items which increases how much money you gain throughout the game in general, and there’s only a 1% chance to get them from the most expensive chest in the game. There are SO many different types of currency, there are 17 different ones including coins, gems, vouchers of all sorts, pets, and clothes it can be difficult at first to keep track of. Not to mention how expensive this game is, I wouldn’t mind throwing a few bucks here or there to a game who’s creators have clearly worked hard but most offers are around $20 with some ‘deals’ being up too $93 which is a joke. A lot of fully made games cost anywhere from $20-$60 and I’m not willing to spend that on a mobile game in one transaction when there are so many more to be made. Very good at first but overall disappointing and a money hungry game. Not really pop up adds but so many offers that make it hard not to watch them, so that’s a plus.
