Idle Outpost: Business Game 12+

I kinda want a refund..

I’m not mad I’m just shook and disturbed. I got a brand new iPhone and was looking for anew game. I’ve played something similar so this one stuck on me. I fell for all the predatory popups urging me to a package deal. Sold on the value and the fun, I spent nearly over $300 in two days.
My only concern is that now the game is increasingly lagging and often won’t even load. All in the span of 3 days playing this game.
I also experienced a lag where the game was saying I am in second place on the event but the leaderboard shows me in first (as I should be) with a major difference between me and second place.
This level of uncertainty makes me not want to keep spending my money which at this point makes me want to stop playing altogether. And as it’s all been only a period of 3 days I really wish I could get a refund.

Initially fun

This is not the game that is shown in their advertisements, so if you are hoping to play that game, keep looking elsewhere. The title of my review says “initially fun”, because the game is a little entertaining for a couple levels. But then you’ll realize every level is pretty much the same concept, it just takes longer to ‘unlock’ items. The concept is you provide goods to customers. You start with offering water, then bandages, matches, and so on. You can somewhat control how fast you serve customers, so it’s easy to prevent getting overwhelmed by customers. I have A couple other complaints as well. The game has an “offline” mode, which means you continue collecting resources even when you’re offline. But there’s a time limit of two hours. So, to continue collecting, you have to log into the game and collect whatever (money and shovels, so far for me) and then close the game again. My frustration is that this mechanic teaches me to just log in collect log out. No other actions. After doing this a couple days of real time, I realize I’m not actually playing the game at all, so there’s no point to continue logging in. I delete the app completely at that point. That’s where I am already with this game. And I’ve had it less than two days.

New areas will be unlocked throughout the game, like missions, arena, and much more. We’d definitely stick around to find out the entire story, as it’s interesting.

Suggestion

Hello, the new update was well worth the wait and I’m thoroughly enjoying the changes. However I have one gripe; I am already finished with the new levels :/ I finished all of them while the zombie bar was active so I cannot take advantage of the new merchant shop at all. This is my biggest and only gripe with IdleOutpost, as all the gameplay and mechanics are solid and it’s one of the few games that doesn’t cram ads down your throat. I believe this issue could be fixed by either implementing a sort of loop feature, or uncapping the level max for the stations on the current latest level. This would allow you to use all the gold piling up and generate red gems during the event. Really like the update keep up the good work!

Hello! We are pleased to inform you that the update with many new features is already on board! If you still don't have the update, don’t worry! It will be available for everyone for two weeks' time! In the latest update, the Arena is a complete rebalance. There is also a new arias and quests. We hope you enjoy it.
