Faster with a large library, and series get their own look. LIBRARY • Hiding, unhiding or deleting many books at once shows a running count instead of appearing frozen, and the library refreshes once at the end. Hiding a folder of books is much faster. • Re-extract All Metadata can be cancelled and no longer stalls on large files. Clean Duplicates and Repair Library scan without freezing the screen. • Pre-process Upscaling for comics runs without hitching the app and shows its progress. SERIES • A series shows as a stack of covers in every layout, with a bar showing which volumes are read, and says where the rest of its volumes are. • Favourite a series: favourites sort first with a star. Long-press a stack for View Series, Select All Volumes, favourite and Series Settings. • Group by Series works in the Table and Magazine layouts too, and lives in the filter sheet. • Typing a series name that differs from an existing one only by case or spacing offers to join it instead of creating a twin. READING • The reader follows the app's Theme setting by default, and plain-text and RTF books honour it too. • In continuous scroll, the bookmark button adds a bookmark where you are and removes it on a second tap. • EPUB search highlights sit exactly on the matched word. • The comic Navigation grid shows every page, and reopening a comic shows the full grid straight away. LISTEN • Play always speaks again after rapid pause, play and skip presses. • Previous sentence at the start of a chapter reads the last sentence of the previous chapter. ALSO • Changing the sort keeps your place, a filter starts at the top, and switching layouts keeps the same books on screen. • On iPad, the library's sheets no longer change the folder column behind them. • Hidden books are better protected when you leave the app or hidden mode. • Two more bundled titles: Aesop's Fables and Edward Lear's Nonsense Songs. • The User Guide documents series, and the About screen shows the real version.
