Very Good Results

Just confused why copy from txt and paste - results are not as expected. Too distorted, not sure if wrong line feeds? When exporting as picture (PNG Format) looks great.

Great idea, works quickly, doesn’t save the details

I tried to contact you directly but couldn’t find any way to. There’s no support under “app support” and your website doesn’t have a contact me page.
Anyway this could be such and amazing app and it’s incredible how quickly it works but if I want to save or share it, it falls apart.
When I save it as a jpg all I’m left with are grey and black smudges all the keystrokes and symbols are gone and when I copy it as text and paste it into either a notepad page or into an email it doesn’t format correctly and I’m just left with a bunch of lines of symbols and numbers that no longer make up my image.
With no instructions or tips or FAQ or settings or help menu or way to contact you this potentially great app gets cut off at the knees and that’s a shame. Hope you can help.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for you feedback. The version 3 update includes an improvement for that. Sharing pictures now saves at a resolution that is is zoomable. In the future, please do not submit three identical reviews.

Fun little app but needs work

I tried saving it as a .txt file as offered in the save menu but it still saved it as .png. It does its job at converting pictures but when I tried to copy and paste to a Text Edit document it became distorted. This can happen if the font does not use the same spacing for all characters but even when I played around with the fonts and the view size I couldn’t get the picture to resolve correctly. It would help if it would save as text with an adequate line length (I think mine was wrapping) and evenly spaced font. It will save correctly as a .png file but the whole idea behind ASCII art is you can save it as text and see a picture. You also can’t crop to a select area.
