Description
Research property information in Wake County, NC.
iMAPS Mobile is the definitive property mapping app for the City of Raleigh and Wake County. With iMAPS Mobile you can research property information by searching by address, owner, PIN or REID numbers or by tapping on the map. This information also includes building photographs, links to deed information, links to real estate information, and civic service information, such as elected officials.
Additional map layers, such as zoning, soils, greenways, topography, etc., can also be added to the map to find even more information. The base map can also be changed to display aerial photography, including historic images from 1981 onward.
To report any issues or feedback for the app, please fill out a brief survey at https://arcg.is/58OLe or email gis@raleighnc.gov.
What’s New
Version 3.0.0
iMAPS has been rewritten using the latest ArcGIS technology.
- contains all of the same layers and maps as the browser version.
- information is now displayed in a resizable sheet on top of the map
- layer list is now searchable and can be expanded, collapsed and reset using the menu
- takes advantage of the use of vector tile base maps, including those provided by Esri
- only those imagery base maps that are available in the current map extent are listed
- now searches all available property fields (address, owner, REID, PIN, and street name) without having to specify the search field
Ratings and Reviews
Love the app
I’m a home inspector and this app is crucial in my job. Compared to all the other municipalities in the area, Wake Co’s mapping systems are hands down easiest to use and this app takes it to the next level.
And now it has been updated for iOS 13!
Thanks
Sexist flaw with owner search feature
This app is sexist. If you want to search for a property by owner name, you always have to use the man’s name. Anytime I put in the woman’s name, it says no results found. If I don’t know the husband’s name, I have to go to the website version instead. I believe the reason is probably that the search only looks at “primary” owner. It’s bad enough that our flawed system is always putting the man’s name first on the deed, even if the woman is the primary on the mortgage, etc. This app makes the sexism so much more obvious and difficult to use.
Great App
This is a great app!! I did not know that this app exists. It has aerial map that showed me the borders with my neighbors. I was thinking of getting somebody to clearly define this for me. It has a lot of information and you need to give it enough time to explore it.
