IMAX 4+

I JUST dowloaded this and hope to use it to find iMax showings wherever I am. I travel and would like to add “favorite” iMax theaters to my list to track what’s showing where I go regularly. I’m also willing to fo to theaters further away than my local one to see something. I also hope this allows me to sort by things like whether a show is in 2D or 3D. This is a request to provide the option to add theaters other than one “my” theater. Thanks.

This app is amazing. It truly shows the potential of Apple Vision Pro. I was impressed with the 2D movies, but then they added 3D movies and it took it to the next level. It truly feels like you’re in an IMAX movie theater. It is a truly immersive experience. Thank you to the developers who have worked hard on making this app happen.

My only suggestion is to make the movies available for purchase instead of renting. The movies on here are demo material and sometimes I just want to show clips of some of the movies to friends and family. But it would get too expensive to rent a movie every time I want to show my friends or family a demonstration of the IMAX app. I would rather pay more to buy so I can watch any time. Or another suggestion is to switch to a monthly or yearly subscription model that would give access to all the movies similar to other streaming video apps. Renting movies on here every time I want to watch a few minutes of demo material gets really expensive otherwise. Thank you again to the developers. You guys have made an awesome app. Hope to also see actual movies on here and not just the documentaries.

The environment on this app is the closest thing to having a theater in your home. Watching the Dune part 2 trailer felt like I was watching it in an IMAX theater. But there was one crucial aspect it was missing.

I really wish this could be a shared experience, such as choosing your seat and buying tickets to watch a newly released IMAX movie with other participants in the theater to give it the theater atmosphere so that you know others are watching the movie and experiencing the joy, the sadness every emotion with you. This is what this app needs to succeed and push to a further limit so it can be the future of entertainment.
