This Translator is a Wonderfull app. It does do most translations that I need (Italian). There are a couple of minor issues. First, it would be good if there was a “speed” control so that the playback speed could be controlled. That would be a nice feature when trying to understand exactly how words and sentences are pronounced. Second, there are regional dialects/words that are not always available. I’m referring to Sicily for the most part. But I like the app and hope that these issues will one day be addressed.

This Translator is a Wonderfull app. It does do most translations that I need (Italian). There are a couple of minor issues. I'm using it since about a month for bulk translation of texts, which then I review manually. It's very quick and works very well. As all automatic translators, it doesn't understand exactly the meaning of certain idiomatic expressions that only a human can discover, as expected. I've found a small problem: I usually translate from Spanish to English by copying and pasting onto the floating translator window using Cmd-C &Cmd-V. Sometimes, Cmd-V doesn't work on the source language upper pane (the cursor stays on the lower pane for some reason) and I must right click and use the paste option to actually paste the text to be translated. I guess this is a program bug probably easy to fix by the developers. Besides that, no problems so far. Thanks!

This app is so well done and makes translating text so easy and seamless. You just select any text, hit command C and press C twice and it opens the translation in a popup from the menu bar. No opening google translate in a web browser. And it has OCR so you can translate any text that you can’t highlight. One of my favorite MacOS apps. ❤️
