Great update
A much needed update to the old app. The interactive map is awesome. Can’t wait to use it at the track.
Needs some work, hope it’s improved for next year
I love racing and I love Indycar. I live in Indy and I generally just buy a bronze pass, physical race day tickets for May and I’m all set. My schedule was a little different this year, so I bought individual tix for quali, GMR, etc. because it made more sense.
This app was a serious pain to set up with multiple awkward verifications and account mergers to get my e-tix to pop on my phone. When I got to the gate, my tickets were gone, like disappeared from the app, and I had to dig through emails to show the person at the gate I actually bought them. In short, IMS has great staff and I got in no problem, but I hope they invest in developing this app to really make the month of May easier for everyone. Hint: take screen shots of your tickets so you have a back up.
Mobile Tickets delivery option grayed out with no explanation
I just want mobile tickets. This app is a massive pain to setup. Have to link IMS account to the app account. The website advertises the app to have a better experience. The app shows the same ad for itself. And when I get to checking out the mobile tickets option is grayed out with no explanation. Can only pay to have tickets mailed or pay to pick them up. Users want an app to handle mobile tickets. Whatever IMS paid for this app experience was too much.
