Why don’t they?
Why oh why does one have press a button to start the speed test?
The reason to be there not to look at the “glorious graphics” but to do a speed test.
So why the additional step.
Settings
It seems to be very easy to use and is very user-friendly. There is also the problem. There are no settings from what I can find to set my location. I have used this for several months and always thought it knew my location but then I noticed that it said my location was 11 miles from New Jersey. I am in Chicago and would like to see a way to set my location so it is more accurate. Every time I start it I have to scroll through and pick Chicago to see what my speed is to the city since I live in the suburbs.
Picking more than one server is a feature you must have because even though I can get a very fast connection to the city, when I pick other cities across the country, especially going west, the speed will slow down as it hits bottlenecks at other network points which are good to know.
It’s pretty good, but…
My only real complaint about this app would be the fact it doesn’t separate the different frequencies in the history. I would like to have a running history of each of my routers and their respective frequencies. Instead they are all shown in the same history report. Otherwise, it is okay and seems to be fairly accurate against my provider.
