Interpretwise Console is the desktop audio console for Interpretwise, the real-time interpretation platform for conferences, hybrid events and meetings. It connects the professional audio interface on your desk to your Interpretwise event, so technicians and interpreters can work with real multichannel hardware instead of a single stereo browser input.
WHY A DESKTOP APP
Web browsers flatten multichannel audio interfaces to mono or stereo and cannot address individual channels. Interpretwise Console talks to Core Audio directly, so it sees every device exactly as macOS does.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- See every connected audio device with its true input and output channel counts and sample rate. The list updates live when you plug or unplug an interface.
- Check any single input channel of a multichannel interface with a live level meter before the event starts. This works offline, before you sign in.
- Capture the floor feed from any channel of your interface, not just channels 1 and 2.
- Route each interpretation language to its own discrete output channel, for example English on channel 1, German on channel 2 and French on channel 3 of the same interface, to feed infrared or RF distribution, a mixing desk or a recorder.
- Send one language to several destinations at once, each with its own gain and mute.
- Save routing presets per event on this Mac and recall them in one click.
- Run the full Interpretwise broadcast console: floor input, AI and human interpretation channels, live monitoring, subtitles overlays for video production and synchronised dubbed live streams.

REQUIREMENTS
An Interpretwise account with access to an event is required to use the console. Accounts and events are created and managed by your organisation at interpretwise.com. The device check and input meter work without an account.
