Great mindful eating tracker

This app has really helped me stay aware of why I’m eating and is great to be able to reflect on the quality of my diet. It’s smooth, simple, and easy to log. I love it, I just wish there were a few changes that would make things easier.
It’d be great to be able to change the timeline so that the most recent meal was at the top, maybe a setting for people to choose their preference. I wish there were more options for how to describe the amount specifically cup and tablespoon options. Also, it’d be nice to have to option to take a picture of the meal and add that to the food log, get a better visualization of it. Again, great app and no problems but some minor changes can make it even better. Thank you for making this app!

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions! We are happy you enjoy this app.

The first two changes are on their way to publishing and should be available in a couple of days (version 1.2.5).

Attaching a picture of the meal is also on our roadmap and will be addressed in the medium term 😊.

I poked fun at a previous icon the app used in my original review, but it’s always been a 5 star app. I’ve watched it grow and change through the updates and it just keeps getting saucier.

I have a few suggestions based on my own experience with logging long term; I think changing the order of each day’s timeline would be helpful so the last meal logged is on top to match how the days are ordered. And it’d be really cool if the [Serving] and [After Meal] drop down menu expanded on a 3D Touch or long press —I believe it’d make checking and changing the labels a lot quicker. I often find myself skipping accuracy just to get the food logged. But I suppose everything is 1 serving if you believe enough 😏

First, we are thrilled you are sticking with this application through all these changes.
Second, thanks for the suggestions; they are both excellent, and after some UX testing, we will add them to one of the following releases.

We are continuously looking for ways to make it easier to log meals, so if you have any other suggestions, please keep them coming.

Great Start!

This app is just what I was looking for to bring mindfulness to my eating patterns while still being a simple design. All the other apps try to do too much and this does just enough. A few issues, the dates for my timeline are a day behind (example, it’s Saturday but it logs it as Friday) and there are no settings to adjust this. Additionally, I wish there was an option to select how I’m feeling without logging my meals. I think for people who struggle with emotional eating, it would be nice just to track their hunger levels throughout the day. This is a great start though, and I hope further updates will be released.

Thanks, Tiffy! I just became aware of the date offset bug and am pushing a fix that should be available in a day or two.

It was a timezone issue, and the date was not displayed correctly for the people who live in the US.

As for the suggestion, I think it might be a good idea. I will consider how to implement it in the current design.
