IP Geolocation and Network Tools is a comprehensive mobile utility suite designed for network administrators, developers, and users who want to understand their network environment and find location intelligence. The application combines advanced location tracking with diagnostic utilities into a single, high-performance interface.
The application automatically resolves your current public and local IP address configuration, mapping coordinates onto an interactive display. With device location permissions, the app also displays your precise real-time GPS coordinates directly on the map card, letting you compare your actual physical location with your network IP-based location. Users can search for any valid IPv4 or IPv6 address to retrieve geographic details including country, region, city, zip code, Internet Service Provider (ISP), and timezone.
The application includes six network diagnostic tools:
1. IP Geolocation: Maps and details coordinates for target IP addresses, supported by a search history panel.
2. Connection Details: Identifies connection status, interface type, local IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS servers, and cellular carrier name.
3. Ping Test: Measures round-trip time latency and packet loss to any host using a TCP handshake loop, displaying results in a graphical line chart.
4. DNS Lookup: Queries Cloudflare secure DNS-over-HTTPS servers to resolve A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT, and NS records.
5. Whois Query: Establishes raw socket connections to registry databases to retrieve registry data and follows referral server chains recursively.
6. Subnet LAN Scanner: Performs concurrent host sweeps on the local network to identify active devices and open connection responses.
7. Port Scanner: Scans target hosts for open service ports using custom presets such as common, web, or system ports.
A localized query history database allows users to store, recall, or clear past lookup targets. The entire application is fully localized in fifty-six languages and respects dark appearance settings.
