Most houseplants don't die of thirst. They drown. Ipkong never tells you to water. It asks you to check. ■ The reminder asks, it doesn't order "Touch Monstera's soil." Then it asks how it felt — still moist, just right, or bone dry. Answer straight from the notification. You never have to open the app. ■ It learns your home, not the average home The same monstera dries at a different rate depending on your heating, your pot, how far it sits from the window. No app can know that in advance. Ipkong learns it from your answers. Say it was still moist and the interval stretches. Say it was bone dry and it shortens. Once the rhythm settles, the question narrows to two options — watered, or still moist. And if "still moist" keeps coming back, the problem may not be the schedule. Ipkong will suggest checking the pot's drainage. ■ Winter is handled for you Winter is when overwatering kills. Plants drink far slower, but hands keep their habits. Ipkong reads the calendar and stretches the interval through winter, more so for succulents. It follows your hemisphere, so winter means winter where you actually live. ■ One notification a day. That's the limit. Ten plants still mean one reminder a day. Notifications that pile up get switched off, and a switched-off reminder protects nothing. ■ No account. No server. · No sign-up · No ads · No data collection — the app contains no networking code at all · No limit on how many plants you add · Works in airplane mode Everything you enter stays on your device, photos included. When it's time for a new phone, Settings can export your records to a file. ■ Made for you if · You have killed a plant or two · You cannot remember when you last watered · You are tired of apps that nag · You want your first pot to survive
