It adds no value

The app doesn’t provide actually useful information that must all be available. It doesn’t allow multiple alerts, so doing a slow leak detection and fast leak detection is impossible. Sometimes when water is running it shows zero gallons being used at the time. It doesn’t show when the last generation was, nor when the next one is likely to happen. One time I had an internet outage and the app sent me a wrong alert putting me in panic about the state of the valve, but there was nothing wrong with flow or valve. If that happens while I was on vacation I would have panicked. So far I didn’t have to use the valve on/off feature remotely, but the $100 spent with the thought have having an additional smart home app/data point is a wrong decision. Save your money to get the automated valve if your driven by the idea of getting something smart other than on/off. And of course there is no integration or api to use with home automation platforms like home assistant, but then without much data that would just make the app more embarrassing

Functions Too Limited

I decided to go with a new wifi water softener to have info for the inner workings of it.
First thing I noticed was a table showing gallons used each day. I’m using this on a personal deep well so this function is of no use to me but I see it might be if they are on city water.
Secondly the alerts for water leakage are odd in the way they are setup but seem to work.
Finally the most odd thing that this water softener app is missing is regeneration info. Of all the things it should have had was regeneration history and feel this would have been the absolute first thing worked on when someone made this app if they ever had a water softener.

App needs improvements

While I could provide a negative review like the others I’ll focus on the positives. If you want to see how many gallons of water you use per day, week, and month this app does just that. I also tested it by pulling 2 cups of water at a time until I got to 1 gallon and it was almost spot on. Do be aware after you go just over 1 gallon of water use it will show 2 because it rounds up to the nearest gallon. That’s ok as long as you know this.

For the application owner. Per the other reviews this application could use improvements. It would be nice to see water usage at a lower level. Down to the minute. It would be great to scroll through history. Had a water issue with a toilet and would like to drill into the history so I can really see when it started. More features with notifications would be great. While there are some good ones there could be more.
