Description
This app pertains to the hospitality industry particularly relating to the widespread use of qr codes to present available menus and information to customers. Typically the customer uses their smartphone to read a qr code which links to a website showing the requested information.
The current app is an adjunct to that service allowing the customer to be in direct communication with the service staff, making service more efficient and affording the customer peace of mind. Specifically the customer has used the code, he is shown a series of buttons on the web page, each button containing a different keyword indicating the needs of the customer. When the button is clicked a notification is sent to the waiter, who can respond so show that the request has been seen. The waiter is able to take the requested item direct to the table, saving time and improving customer satisfaction.
