JavaScript Starter is a focused coding and learning environment for beginners who want to learn JavaScript by writing and running real code. Write JavaScript programs, run them locally, and view program output, errors, and exceptions—all within the app. Your source code, input, run results, and program output are processed locally and are not uploaded to developer servers. A Practical JavaScript Workspace - Write and edit a main.js source file - Run JavaScript locally on iPhone, iPad, and Mac - Use JavaScriptCore, Apple's native JavaScript engine - Prepare standard input before running a program - Send a line while a program is waiting for input - Send EOF when the program has received all input - View program output, errors, and exception messages - Stop programs or handle execution timeouts and excessive output - Save your work automatically - Duplicate, rename, delete, and restore projects with IDE Pro Private by Design - No account or login is required - Your code stays on your device - Source code, input, run results, and output are not uploaded - There is no cloud sync, remote execution, or cloud backup - There are no ads, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking JavaScript Starter includes one editable local workspace for free. JavaScript Starter IDE Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks multiple local projects and complete project management features. IDE Pro is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. JavaScript Starter uses Apple's JavaScriptCore framework. It does not provide Node.js APIs, npm installation, DOM APIs, arbitrary Web APIs, or third-party native npm modules. Compatibility with every JavaScript package or production project is not guaranteed.
