Jigsaw® Dating 17+

I legit can’t even really test the app since I only had 4 people within 20 miles have a profile. Setting up my profile though and looking at the profiles I could see made it nice and easy. The prompts given to everyone to use were plentiful and good enough to force people to actually write something really interesting about themselves. I even got to read one of the chicks went skydiving. Plus the puzzle feature. Whenever you post a pic of yourself, a small jigsaw puzzle covers your face. I’m used to Tinder so I didn’t care much, but the puzzle pieces come from their pics the more you talk to them. So what I’ve seen. The app is really well done. Just personally for me, in my area, there just isn’t enough people using the app.

I let the team know an issue I was having with my app and they were so sweet and generous and offered me a week of jigsaw+ I think this app is by far my favorite “meet people” sort of app. I love the concept of not knowing what someone looks like until you get to know them at least a little bit the only thing I really don’t like is that after a while people expire and you need the jigsaw+ for “forgiveness” and that really is frustrating because people have lives and they get busy and sometimes we don’t have time to check the app to see if we have a message let alone respond I feel like that feature is pointless and can ruin a lot of potential relationships. But other than that the app is FANTASTIC. I had to redo my previous review because the problem was solved lol

Oh another thing I would like to suggest is making a go back button because I’m constantly hitting the pass button on accident while trying to read the profiles.

I don't understand why this app punishes you for not talking 24/7 to your match, especially when you can't even see their face yet. I hadn't checked my app in a few days and noticed that one of my matches had expired. Now Jigsaw wants me to pay for a subscription in order to recover the match. The paid version offers a feature that says "Give them a second chance" as if you didn't work out, which isn't true at all. We had an ongoing conversation and it was moving forward fairly well. We just both have lives outside of the internet.

I enjoyed the concept of the app overall but being unmatched truly drove me away. With this being a newer app, Jigsaw should not be blocking you from people in such a short amount of time. This will just drive users away, IMO. I understand if the app unmatches you when there is no communication at all after matching, but if you have an ongoing conversation, it doesn't make sense that your conversation went "downhill" and you should be blocked forever from them.
