I am the local store marketing representative and catering coordinator for Zio's Italian kitchen. My marketing is 12$ hourly, as well as 20$ hourly for catering at events when I am supervising. I also by choice take a lot, if not all, of the bulk catering deliveries, which when you are delivering $1000 worth of food can lead to some nice tips. I get $15 added to my paycheck as a sort of credit tip for every delivery or catering event within 15 miles away it increases to $30 if it is above 15 miles away. I also serve a couple nights A week in order to boost the amount of cash in my pocket. The kicker is that even though I am officially a catering coordinator, if I am not AT a catering event, all of the prep work in restaurant that goes into making these bulk delivery orders or ensuring we have the supplies and staff to handle upcoming catering orders and all of the full service preparation and clean up, I get paid five dollars an hour. Needless to say, it really gets confusing trying to keep track of not just my hours but how much I am making in tips, and with the extra work that goes into it that I am only being considered five dollars an hour for, I was truly curious as to whether or not this job was worth it. THIS APP helped me keep track of my tips, my hours, my delivery fees, my hourly pay for marketing as well as catering and also the paltry five dollars an hour I make doing all the prep for it, and my serving shifts. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WORKING FOR TIPS

This is such a helpful (and I’d almost go so far to say necessary) tool to have as a professional server.It’s simple and easy to use, and it really does just about everything. You can track multiple jobs, and multiple shifts - for the doublers out there (BLESS)! You can add multiple positions to each job so it’s simple and easy to track your income if you’re versatile and work different pay-rated positions in a week. I’ve seen some people review that you can’t change the “starting day” of the week, but that’s not true you CAN change it to be any day so you can adjust to any different/odd weekly pay period that your job might have. (I had a Wednesday to Tuesday once… it was impractical, but this app handled it just fine)The user interface can be a little tricky, and took me a little bit to get used to ALL of it. But the simple stuff is SO simple. You just put your tips in. The only small issues I have are:1. On the monthly view scrolling from month to month is very difficult, as the screen keeps skip glitching back to todays month. Eventually you can get out, but it’s annoying. 2. If you work a shift in a non-tip, hourly only position, you still have to go in and put that you made $0.01 in tips for it to be able to include that shift in your hourly calculations for everything that week/month.These are only minor issues to me and it is still my favorite tip tracking app after 5 years of serving.
1.5 update ruined all of my data?

I’ve been using this tip tracker since February and it has been fully reliable until this last update. I updated last night at the end of my shift, when I opened my app today it nearly doubled how much money I actually made. Some orders were duplicated and instead of showing the 22k I’ve made this year, the reports are stating that I’m at 42k. It’s not even just the orders that were tripled and doubled, it’s messing with my hours as well. It went from perfectly tracking my hours to adding an extra 15 or 20 out of nowhere. I can’t even find where they’re being added because it’s not in the orders, not even the duplicated ones. I worked one day in November so far and the reports show I’ve made 1k instead of the $100 that it really is. I was hoping to be able to restore my data but the only restoration point is from after the update. Why are there no other restoration points available? And the only way to contact the developers is through twitter Instagram and Facebook?? I can’t believe that nearly whole years worth of work is lost. It looks like I’m back to keeping track manually. If a developer is reading this, please contact me and help if possible. Please fix whatever is causing these issues.Edit: developer got in touch with me within a timely manner and fixed my issues. Crossing my fingers that none of that will happen again but for now I’m satisfied with my service. Thank you jtt!

I’m so aggravated with this, because if the developer would pay attention to the app, I’d give it 5 stars because I’ve used this app since 2017 across several different restaurants. It’s amazing, I love being able to see my history of income and the trends and other data. The ability to see this data in words is also fantastic when considering life changes. I’ve been out of the service industry for almost a year now, and am about to jump back in. I redownloaded this app and attempted to sign back in so I could assess what my schedule would need to look like to pay my bills. To my chagrin, the app started crashing immediately whenever I tried to log in. I mean like immediate crash after opening (once I pressed submit on my login). At some point, I guess I got in cuz I was able to view all my old stuff, and it stopped crashing. Left it alone for a while and just came back to it today to reevaluate, based on another restaurant I worked at more recently. The moment I switched restaurants, it began crashing again, immediately upon opening. I cannot open the app now. If you are considering getting this app because Apple labeled it as “The #1 app for servers”, DO NOT GET IT!!! Or at least, check the version history to ensure it’s had an update more recently than six years ago. I don’t imagine any app developer is reading these anymore, so save yourself the data loss later and find a better app for logging tips.
