Mac
Your Mac, watching the night so you don't have to. Khonsu turns any idle, charging Mac into a beautiful glanceable display. New in 1.0: six widgets.
Khonsu turns your charging, idle Mac into a beautiful smart display.
When your Mac is plugged in and you step away, instead of dimming to a black rectangle it becomes a glanceable ambient screen: a large clock, today's calendar, the weather, your photos, tonight's moon. Touch anything and it vanishes instantly your desktop returns exactly as you left it.
SCENES, NOT SCREENSAVERS
• Seven designed scenes ship built in: Morning, Workday, Evening, Night, Weekend, Kitchen and Bedside — each tuned for its moment of the day.
• Scenes switch themselves by time of day, day of week, or via Shortcuts automations when a Focus turns on.
• Design your own in the drag-and-drop editor: thirteen tiles, four sizes, gradients, ambient backgrounds or a blurred wallpaper.
• Share scenes as files export any scene and send it to a friend.
TILES THAT EARN THEIR PLACE
Clock, Date, Calendar, Day Schedule, Weather, Photos, Quotes, World Clock, System Stats, Timer, Reminders, Custom Image, and Tonight's Moon with live phase and illumination.
THE WAKE-TO-WORK PROMISE
• Any key, click or trackpad touch dismisses Khonsu in a blink.
• Khonsu never moves a window, never switches a Space, never touches your work. It is purely a layer above your desktop your unsaved draft is exactly where you left it.
CONSIDERATE BY DESIGN
• Activates only when your Mac is plugged in and idle never over full-screen video, and never while you're presenting or on a call.
• Pause it for an hour, until tonight, or until you plug back in.
• Burn-in protection, thermal awareness, and a whisper-quiet resource budget designed for all-night sessions.
EVERY MAC ON A DESK IS A DISPLAY
• Multi-monitor support with an independent scene per display Kitchen on the external monitor, Night on the MacBook.
• Six desktop widgets in the Khonsu style: Clock, Date, Weather, Calendar, Moon, and Quote.
• Menu bar controls, a global hotkey (yours to remap), and full Shortcuts/Siri support.
PRIVATE, COMPLETELY
Khonsu collects nothing. No analytics, no account, no tracking, no server.
Calendar, photos and location never leave your Mac, and every permission is
optional Khonsu works beautifully without any of them.
One purchase. No subscription.
