Kids App Qustodio 4+

Not bad but not good

So you see, I’m a teenager and I do things I regret doing sometimes. So my parents downloaded this app, it doesn’t show me anything but it doesn’t let my parents see what I’m doing either. I understand that you don’t have the same parents I do, but maybe setting up a compromise and figuring out something you like and you’re parents like may be the solution. Yes, I know and understand they might just make up an excuse, but ay, at least you tried in the end, and yes I may be thirteen and I may act immature sometimes, but in reality, I’m just a 13 year old trying to figure out her place in this cruel world, if you don’t want your child doing bad things teach them that stuff early as a kid and they might hate it and won’t accidentally search up something they will regret doing later. I know from experience, for an example, when I was six I went on a group chat with adult men and a boy that was 17 texted me and asked me if I would ehm his privates. I went straight to my parents after he showed me pictures of it and told them. They grounded me but I was okay with it, and now I know not to do it again. With that being said, IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE IT TO BABY YOU'RE TEENAGER, THAN DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS APP GO GET THERAPY AND MENTAL HELP best regards, Maddy a thirteen year old girl whose stating facts and making a point in her life.

I may not like this app but I will be honest on the apps review.

I am a 14 year old girl. My mom downloaded this app on all my devices. There is a location viewing feature and what I am gonna say may shock you or may not. My mom pays 99 dollars for this app but it doesn’t even tell her my correct location or history! It says I left my house when I was ASLEEP! and that I tried to go on Facebook 30 times but it was blocked. This app is an invasion of privacy. Your parents can see what your doing but YOU DONT KNOW WHO ELSE CAN! Imagine someone viewing your screen all day while you do schoolwork, watch movies, etc. Parents you are NOT the only ones seeing your kids location! Imagine someone tracking your child through an app YOU downloaded yourself! It doesn’t matter if people can or can’t see the location from the creators, what if someone hacked the parent app?! They can find all your info! This app sometimes glitches and shuts down my iPad when it’s not supposed to (yes I asked if my parents blocked it first. They did not) I recommend fixing that for a more smooth experience of the consumers of this app. Overall this app does an okay job at controlling what your kids do and see. It alerts you when you don’t follow expectations, but I hope they fix a few things about this app that will make a huge difference on the experience of this app.

This app is ridiculous

Don't get this app parents. For the sake of your relationship with your child. I understand that you want to keep them safe but all your doing is creating trust issues. From experience during the time I've had this app, I have grown away from my family even more than ever. I feel like they don't trust me anymore. I can't open up to them because they would use, "its for your own good." or something along those lines. If you don't expose your child to the real world they won't survive. They won't know what to look for in a bad person or know how to protect themselves. If your child is having trouble understanding the real world or how life works then don't get them a phone. If you want your child to trust you then let them have their privacy. I know you will say, "but they are kids. They don't nee privacy" or, "they are not adults yet and don't have rights." or you might even say," well I pay for their phone bill so they don't have to." Those things I just listed are excuses. You only download apps like this one so you won't have to feel guilty if they get in trouble. Some problems ar fixable without your help. Sometimes they will need help and that is okay. I hope you consider this message and try to understand where your child is coming from. One more reason children like tech so much is because they grew up with it. It is second nature for them. So please give your kid(s) a second chance to prove they don't need apps like this one.
