I paid for it…

…and I “hate” how much I love it. I don't even like mechanical keyboards, but there's always been something about the MacBook Pro's keyboard that feels off. Somehow typing on a MacBook Air feels better than typing on the Pro. Even Apple’s separate Magic Keyboard feels better to type on, even though it's virtually the same. Maybe it's the slight angle on it, compared to the MacBook Pro's keyboard. As for Klack, l'm a late adopter and based on the 2+ years this app's been around, Henrik's added a lot of good features that I thought originally came standard from the beginning. So it’s clear he’s taking feedback and is still working on adding more sound options and other features. The biggest pro about this app is no data collection. I also like that it can swap seamlessly between my AirPods and internal mics - great if I’m out and don’t want to disturb anyone with the noise.

Fantastic little app! Feature request: detect external keayboard

Great little app! While it obviously does not replace the tactile pleaseure of a good keyboard, it does make typing on the macbook keyboard that much more enjoyable.

With the limited set of switches I'd reduce a star, but the dev says he's adding more, at which point the 5 starts will be well earned.

One feature request: I only want the app to be active when I'm typing on the macbook builting keyboard. If i'm using my mecanical keeb, then I don't want this to be active. Any chance you could detect which keyboard is being used, or at lease if there is an external keayboard plugged in, and allow users to enable only on the builting keybaord, or at least only if there's no external keybaord plugged in!

Once you go Klack, you never go back.

It may not sound like this app does much, but for me, this app does everything. I use Crystal Purple. It’s made my typing experience (and overall computer experience) so much better, and it’s actually helped my typing become more accurate, because I have auditory feedback now. If I’m on my computer typing, and Klack isn’t activated, it only takes a couple minutes before I’m like, “Something’s wrong.”

I don’t write reviews for much, but when I was perusing the App Store, I saw the app (which I’ve had for 2 years now), and decided it was worth the time. I don’t remember how much I paid for the app, but it was well worth the price.
